SSF 2019 TEACHERS LINE-UP
Vincenzo Fesi is a worldwide recognised dancer, teacher and choreographer born at Lake Como but adopted by Roma. Inspired by the incomparable Fred Astaire, Gene Kelly and Frankie Manning Vincenzo Fesi dances the Lindy Hop, the Balboa, the tap dance and many other jazz styles. As a real globetrotter, he teaches and perform at the most prestigious swing dance events around the world. Cape Town, Melbourne, Paris, Stockholm, Seoul and London are just some of the cities where he is invited as a guest every other weekend.

Vincenzo organizes intensive workshops for beginners and professional dancers alike both in Como and in Roma. He has a specific teaching method that he developed throughout his years of experience in the fields. When he teaches and when he performs, Vincenzo gives off a contagious energy that drives his audience crazy. Since 2006 he organizes one of the most popular events in the world: Swing Crash Festival alongside Isabella Gregorio. The event takes place every June in Como, inspired by old movies and newspapers of the golden age of jazz music.
Katja Završnik started dancing at the age of 5 and through the years studied various forms of dance such as Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Ballroom, Gymnastics and Acrobatic Rock and Roll for 9 years. Since 2005 she has focused on early American dances from the Jazz age and Swing era, such as the Lindy Hop, Swing, Balboa, Charleston, St. Louis Shag and Authentic jazz. Over the past 9 years she has taught and performed all over Europe, Asia and USA. If not caught globetrotting for special weekend workshops and festivals, Katja enjoys sailing or chilling with her terrier in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

Her knowledge of (almost) all swing dances allows Katja to adapt her dance to any type of dancer elegantly. Her focus on musicality and connection makes her one of the most sought-after followers in the scene, even though her initially seeming shyness might give a different expectation. Katja enjoys partying with dancers and is often the last to leave the dance floor.
Pamela Gaizutyte
Humorous and dynamic, keen, full of heart and a touch of the anarchic, Pamela was spellbound by Lindy Hop energy and community at the age of 16 when she started her first classes at Lindyhop.lt Club in Vilnius. Despite her young age Pamela has already brought herself to light constantly learning anything related to dancing, be it music, psychology or anatomy.

In 2009, Pamela began working at Hoppers' Dance Studio in her hometown of Vilnius, Lithuania. Today she dances and teaches with the top leaders in the international Lindy Hop scene. Having no constant partner has given Pamela space to bring a lot of variety to her dance - no wonder dancers call her one of the most exciting followers in recent years.

As a dancer Pamela cherishes individuality and freedom. For her Lindy Hop is not as much about impeccable technique as it is about musicality and awareness. As a teacher she shares her values and encourages people to find their own way of dancing: "Learn to be ok with the way you are and how your body moves. It's all about you."
Felix Bergähll
Felix is a swing dance instructor, performer, and choreographer based in Stockholm, Sweden. Like any other Swedish dancer he started in the Swedish Competition Scene at 9 years old with "bugg" , followed by Boogie Woogie at 10 but not until his first visit to Herräng Dance Camp at 16 that he fell in love with the African American social dances of the swing era such as Lindy hop, Vernacular Jazz, Charleston and Tap.

Strongly believing that swing dancing is a way to bring people together and bring happiness in to their life, Felix wants to pass his craft and knowledge to many all over the world. Because when he dances that's is all he can think about and express: pure happiness!
